cleaning lady

The cleaning lady could not come again this week. She is having biopsies done and the doctor wanted to see her. I hope she is okay, she is a lovely lady.

So we had a free day and wasted it as usual.
We did got o Canadian Tire and wondered why we were there.....
We went to London Drugs and knew why we were there. I wanted to buy some nail polish remover pads and Ray bought some Vitalux that was on sale.
We went back to Michael's because we were unhappy with our new picture and want to change the mats. The mat we chose overwhelms the picture and we want something to enhance the picture. We'll take the picture back to them tomorrow.

Tim Horton's was next for a coffee. I had a mint mocha latte but Ray was not adventuresome and had plain coffee.

I had a long nap after we got home so that was how I wasted my day.
Ray made dinner tonight fried cabbage and sausages . It was very good. We both like cabbage, sometimes as a cole slaw and at other times cooked in the oven with  either sausage or pork chops. It is a good vegetable.
I know it's late but I promised  Ray I would clean up the counters in the bathroon. He did the  tub and the mat in the tub as well as the toilet so my part is the counter and the sink. We are a team LOL.

I think I may set up my embroidery for tomorrow. That way I'll do it. I have two towels to embroider. Lots more but that is my latest project.
I just had a long phone call from Jim, he has been very sick with some kind of a virus.

He said he didn't call me as I have enough to worry about right now/

Windmill , half square triangles and squares.

This little girl reminds me of the Kewpie dolls that were popular when I was a young girl. They were withdrawn from stores eventually as they were made of celuloid and very flamable.  This little lady is so cute sewing up her project . Hmm I think I want her and her  doll. LOL.

Young owls, do these guys scare you, they do look somewhat frightening.

Another scary face but oh so beautiful.

Not the least bit scary, but I do love the picture of the parents and the babies.

I want cuddles too .  He is beautiful isn't he.

We'd be good together.

Mommy and me, we're good together too.

These horses remind me of driving through Utah where we saw horses at the fence. We stopped for a closer look and they came over to be fed I guess but we did not have anything for them. I felt badly but we don't carry food in the car , we always stop for a meal when we are on the road.

Time for me to go.
Have a beautiful evening.

Aloha ahiahi.
