Embroidery his and hers.

Whew, I just finished my day and it is 8:15. We went out this morning to shop for groceries and did not buy a quilting magazine. Do you have any opinions about the magazines that are wrapped in plastic. I do - because I can't check out what is inside to see if I really want to buy it. I know they put some extras in the wrapped bag  but to me that is just a ruse. If I can't check to see if I want to buy the magazine I just don't purchase it. It seems to me the biggest  culprit in this way of doing business is Fons and Porter. I used to buy Love of Quiting every issue but lately that has not been happening. If I want anything I just look it all up on the internet. But there is nothing like having the real thing in your hands. My rant for today.

After shopping we had coffee at Timmy's .

When we came home I decided to embroidery a towel for the bathroom. It is a cute little design that I bought from Emblibrary. I like the His and Hers desogns. It was Hers that I made today and believe me  it took forever stitch out. Of course I took time out for a bowl of soup. I did take a picture but under the yellow light it doesn't show up very well. I'll put it up but it won't look very good.
Yuck tomorrow I'll take one under natural light. I don't have an Ott light but can see how it would help. The towel is grey and should look better than this.

Note that this pattern is the same as the one I put on the blog the other day except for the plain strip at the top so it would be very easy to do.
I didn't have much to show for today except my embroidery, didn;t even talk to anyone on the phone.
I wrote to Peter and he is coming to see us tomorrow. He is close to Rick and we need to talk.  they both live in Calgary and work for the Calgary Board of Education.

Three little mice singing a Christmas carol.

Let's have a nap in the hammock.

This nice quilt substituting for a tablecloth is very attractive and would look good on a bed too.

A brother sewing on a Brother. Neat eh! I like pictures of men sewing.  What's that all about ?
That's it folks I am so ready to go to bed.
I hope your evening was great.

Bon Soir.
I forgot this one, so here it is.
