Whew we were busy today.

Isn't this a pretty Christmas ornament block. The shape is very pleasing as is the colour combination, well red and green go together all the time . Still it does look nice. And it appears that it is quite simple .

Here is yesterday's block.

Blue and white, this block is known as The Sickle , I guess it would be The sickle in red and white too LOL. It looks a bit, no, a lot lopsided . I wonder if it makes a secondary pattern as you sew the blocks together. I am not that good at visualizing so help me out here Haha.

I encountered this quilt years ago when I first started quilting. I have liked it ever since and this one done in Asian fabrics is wonderful. If you  don't have a lot of these fabrics you may want to share/borrow with/from your friends.

I hope this is not the second time for this site but it has some lighthouses on it and more to come.

Beautiful isn't it.  I like the way lighthouses today are not always white. The red ones are delightful.

So on to our day.
We went out first to Safeway for drugs, then off to MacDonald's for chicken Mc Nuggets and once more off to the Ostomy clinic for supplies.
We wandered up to several stores including London Drugs to get some pill organizers. We decided to take our pills in two organizers so that we don't have to carry a ton of bottles. That job and the ostomy supplies have taken  care of some of our jobs. Going away is a lot of work before hand Haha.

And look what I bought for myself, it is so pretty, I love the copper look.

Here is my other purchase..... That will keep me busy for a while when we are away.

This gentle dog was waiting patiently for his mom as it turned out. She , the dog, was so quiet and still even when I took her photo. I did ask her permission though LOL.
London Drugs where we bought several packages/boxes of Lindt round balls for Rick when he gets here. He loves those chocolates so I got them for him. It will help when he comes to an empty apartment. He is bringing a friend so at least he will have company on the trip through the mountains.

That reminds me I must book a hotel room in Ottawa on the way back from Quebec. So  I just did, now we are ready for anything.

When we got home I boiled some eggs and we both ate one each. Then I diced up the rest of them and made devilled egg for sandwiches. So that is what we had for dinner. I love that ans so does Ray.

I spent some time on my computer looking for my next set of  embroideries that I want to sew. I have a lot of things to look at and what did I do instead of sewing? I looked LOL.
Time to go
Kon ban wa

Have a lovely evening.
