Beautiful circles.

A lovely heart quilt made up from gift hearts. I found this one on Facebook where the owner had it shown. It is made of gift heart blocks given to the owner , I forget the reason , there are always blocks given for retirement, for a birthday, for service in a guild and for many other reasons.

Ray and I stayed home today to rest and relax after a rather hectic week. He is hoping to hear from his daughter and son.  Sam called him and invited us for lunch tomorrow and Peter called from the road where he is heading out to Edmonton.

However we did go to TOPS for dinner, I had veal cutlet and Ray had pepper steak. Ice cream for dessert, was all good.

Now we are watching TV and resting and I am writing. So that is it for this evening.

Rick and Ricky having a liquid lunch. Ricky left a moving tribute to his dad on Facebook. It made me cry and made me happy as well.

Wouldn't you love to have this restful pond in your back yard. It is absolutely beautiful.

Another kind of beautiful, a lovely table runner. Any block can be used to make a table runner like this. Put it on point and make three blocks for the runner.

Female wild turkey in south Kansas. Good hunting if you are into that sort of thing.

This quilt looks as easy as pie but I have no pattern for this block.  Some quilters are familiar with this block but others will need to figure out the block. It looks like what my friend Betty calls a two by four section and calls for 4 of them to make the full block.

Time to go friends.
Have a good evening.

Good night.
