Ah Paper Piecing again. Neat block of kitchen mixer. I love this one but no way can I make it. The use of the colour strip in the middle of the mixer is such a great idea.

Kansas Star is the feature block for today. You have to look to catch the star , at least I did.

Pretty towel, I think it is a towel. The centre piece is a bit askew.

I saw a cute little quilt today with mittens on it.
This doesn't happen to be the one I saw , this is from Quiltmakers magazine. The one I saw used the same mittens but in a different arrangement.
See the top quilt it is the one I just mentioned. Same mittens different arrangement.

The ladder makes a nice addition to the quilt, it intensifies the interest.

I went to see the eye doctor today, a new doctor as my old friend Dr. Finlay has retired. Too bad as I was very fond of him. However I do like my new guy Dr. Butler. He said I was fine but did not respond to my remarks about the pain I had other than to say next time it happens to come to the office even if I do not have an appointment. So I will.

Because I still have trouble seeing we did nothing more. However I did make supper for the two of us. There was a bit of lasagna left
over from my meal at the restaurant last night.

So I paired it up with salad , cottage cheese and corned beef. It all tasted very good.

Last night was guild and dinner out with Kathy, Judy and Barb. It was a great start to the evening but I ended up very tired and did not take my camera out of my purse so took no pictures. However I think there are a few on it from Tuesday group. I'll check it out.
As for  dinner I had a wonderful lasagna, usually I have linguine and seafood sauce but last night thought to try something different.

The meeting was busy and there were so many quilts being shown. All the quilts that pumpkin seed made for the hospitals we displayed and there were a lot of others on display. It was fun and as I said I just watched and enjoyed the show.

I just made myself another little salad because I wanted something to eat and more salad appealed to me. It was just lettuce with feta and oil and malt vinegar as the dressing. It was good!

Neither do I young pup.

The tree of life, now this is a very fancy door.It must have taken so large amount of work to paint this door.

That is all for tonight folks.
Have a good evening.

Good night.
