More flood pictures along the streets of Calgary. So many states of emergency in Alberta, so much recovery to do, it is monumental. People all over are offering services to help with the clean up. I hope they can find places to stay.

Many from B.C. are also volunteering to come and help their neighbours. They surely need all the help they can get and financial help is so important. The Red Cross is accepting money for Albertans who need help with money. That would be most of them I think. They are saying it will be a ten year plan to recover from the flood.

An official of the Calgary Stampede said they would be hosting the stampede come hell or high water. I think they had the high water and hope they do not get the hell. I am afraid it might be prophetic.

I did not go out today as I was still a bit dizzy and I cancelled my pot luck visit on Tuesday. I go to the doctor on Wednesday and I am sure she can help me. This is quite debilitating. I am in a chair or bed all day . Not a very healthy way to live. However I have had some relief later in the afternoon and so decided to cook dinner. It gets me on my feet for a while. I had bought some lamb burger and so made it into patties after I doctored it up a bit. It could have been doctored a bit more . There were still some potatoes left from yesterday so they were sliced and fried. It was yummy! Ray cannot eat potatoes because of his kidneys so he had a cabbage roll. His diet is so restrictive.

The cleaning lady came today after a three week lapse. Thank goodness because Ray takes on all the work if she can't come. Not really necessary I feel, but he is compulsive about it. Not that I can complain but I worry about him.

He always goes out when she comes , maybe he cannot stand to watch LOL.

I sat a played casino games for the afternoon. Wow they sure want you to spend your money. Not me. I think gambling on line is just too, too easy to get into trouble. But I enjoy playing the free games.

I think they might ban me at some time LOL.

This guy didn't quite make it LOL. My they are so curious aren't they. Remember when we were young and our mom said to us Curiosity killed the cat. Satisfaction brought it back. See there is a resurrection !!!!
