A day in the house

The elevator is still not working so we stay in and watch the Olympics. Not that it is a bad thing. I am enjoying the Olympics this time. Watching the medals count   up for Canada is a great event for us. So we vegged out.

Marg came over for a visit. I was so surprised at her hands She had gotten frostbite once a while ago and she Now is in great pain in her hands when it is very cold as it has been. She has to wear gloves at all times right now when it is cold.  I had no idea she was suffering this way.

Block of the Day
Infinity is the name of the block. I can see why.  Can't you?

Download now as a pdf pattern

My next quilt is a lovely Sunbonnet Sue.
I love this quilt  Sunbonnet Sue is doing her daily duties.
She is a good girl.

I want to make another one of these. I should start it soon so i can do it on Tuesday.  I would just do the middle part of the quilt and not the borders as shown  on this one.  I don't know of course  if any of you enjoy applique but it is a lot of fun to do. I recommend it to you for a relaxing activity.  If you don't know how go to your local quilt shop to see if there is a class or if the person there would help you start  an applique block.

A pieced quilt called Farmall.  This is a very nice pattern but I have no idea where it came from.

I love this twister heart. I have the template and must get it out and make this  if  I can find the pattern.

That is all folks,
Have a great evening

Good night.
