quilt on chair

http://bit.ly/1aFhQ3T          This is a lovely couch or chair quilt. It brightens up the living room.

And here we have a very large quilt of many stars to cover a big bed.

Nice little shopping bag , my concern is that it might stretch. The pattern above is free.

We are making dinner, a salmon side made by Ray and fried mushrooms, celery, onions and garlic made by Nan, boiled cauliflower and broccoli by Nan too.  It is still cooking , I can hardly wait to eat it.
We went to Safeway to pick up a couple of things and forgot to get the things we went for. Memory is a funny thing. But dinner is turning out okay despite that. LOL. At least we don't forget the big things . If we ever knew them. Haha.

And that was the day for us.  It is almost time to eat. Ray says the salmon is done.
Dinner was delicious, nothing like west coast sockeye salmon.
Salmon in salt water loo like this -blue. When they return to fresh water to spawn they turn red.
They morph into this shape as they begin to spawn. We love our salmon.

I remember this and I hated it. One year we got cooking , the next in Grade 8 we got sewing. I hated both of them sewing and cooking. My how times change.

Have I shown this before, probably as I love this photo of a mama horse and her loving baby. Who could not love it.

And in this corner.....
Lots of action in this picture, the kitten looks as if it is flying through the air.

Family life, this is an adorable quilt and looks easy enough to do.

Visions of springtime and the yellow birds are feeding. Remember that song, Yellow Bird by Harry Belafonte and the Kingston Trio.

That is it for tonight, not much going on today.

Have a lovely evening, snow is planned for here tonight says the weatherman.

Good night!
