aha a block

Download now as a pdf pattern to make a block 6 inches

 Road to Kansas

This was last night's block and I left the site  , forgot to come back. So tonight I continue the blog a day late or right on the day.

My memory sometimes leaves me holding the bag  Haha.

However I am back blogging tonight, can't remember as far back as last night LOL.

I found photos of sewing machines on Facebook and saved them. tonight's show will be Sewing Machines . Here goes.

Look a Feather Weight I think . No matter it is a Singer. I had a chance to buy one of these quite a few years ago and passed it up. Now I am sorry. I need to act fast when I encounter a deal. I have a friend with one and she does all her piecing and quilting on it. Now that woman is amazing.

Now here's a dandy, the Queen and Prince admiring a Singer sewing machine. Not that She would ever put her hands on it. they seem to think it is funny.

Ah a lovely Brother, it is similar to my Janome 6600, my only sewing machine. I do have a Janome embroidery machine. That is all I need, not doing much of anything these days anyway.

Another Brother, such a nice little machine. Not mine though.

A big loss ,  Omar Sharif the great Egyptian actor died today at 83 years of age in his native Cairo, Egypt. I remember his performance in  Dr. Zhivago, he was wonderful. It is always sad  to lose an old friend as we so often feel about the actors whose work we enjoyed.

Another Grandmother's Flower Garden hexagons. What a ton of work this one is but it is beautiful.

So that is all for tonight folks.
                   Have a lovely evening.
                                     Good night.
