What day is it?

Download now as a pdf pattern to make a block 6 inches

 Block of the day.
I like this kind of block, easy piecing.
It seems that I forgot to do my blog last night, so here we go tonight.

We are watching Glenn Campbell, He can still sing but he is suffering from Alzheimer's Disease and has great difficulty remembering other things. There are so many diseases of old age that take your life away. I think of my dear Richard and ALS. It is such a devastating disease and as strong as my love for him is there is nothing I can do for him. I pray that he stays at the stage he is in now for some time to come.

Ray had to go for blood tests and for a kidney test today but I stayed in all day. I did nothing but my laptop work and a small bit of knitting. Such a lazy day but I did enjoy it. And I started a new book which is often a treat and this one is. I have started two other books but did not want to continue them. Some books do not compel me to carry on. Too bad.

Captivating Chelsea, my talented granddaughter , I love this picture of her.She is a wonderful musician and plays several musical instruments. She does love the saxaphone.

Such a delightful mug rug. There are so many wonderful examples of mug rugs, just  plug in Mug Rugs and they will come up on the  internet.  They are such simple little quilts , a joy to make and a pleasure to use.

Here is another mug rug, lovely and bold. Red White and Blue.

That is all folks.  I hope you have a wonderful evening.

Good night.
