block

Download now as a pdf pattern

Corn and beans is the name of this block.

On the top right side of the page, you’ll see a link for another freebie, a serger mat.

No pattern for this one but it is cute despite the fact that it is almost time for snow to be over. Or am I living in a fool's paradise.

and as for today......

Ray and I just went up to Metrotown for a walk around. We stopped in Ronson's to look at the shoes. It has been years since I was able to find any shoes that worked for my poor feet.  And by the time we reached the store I was too tired to bother trying them on. However I know now there is a pair I might buy so I do not have to look just try on and buy.  Next time we go I'll do that.

Spring seems to be happening, the forsythia is blooming

and the camelias.  I saw a Japanese cherry bursting into blossoms, Life is returning to the world.   The bears are coming out of hibernation so watch your garbage cans.  the weather today was wonderful. The first full day of Spring is today and so the year progresses.

We stopped on our way back to the car for a small soft ice cream sundae which we shared as usual.

On the way home we stopped for gas
and at the grocery store for wieners and buns for hot dogs tonight. The dogs were good. LOL
We thought about purchasing some other items but since  we shop tomorrow we just left it at that.

Adam and Lisa left today to go to visit friends in Sechelt. That means a short ferry ride and a shorter drive to where they want to go. I hope their day is wonderful.

Rick is still getting his bathroom renovated  and Jim is working on it for him.
Peter is over in Victoria attending a meeting . And Matthew is home in Richmond.

IF IT FITS I SITS- a series.

Colt in tub, cozy little place.

How 'd he do that?  Some cats cannot keep out of trouble.

Too big for the box.

Wrap 'im up and put him in the mailbox.

So that is my thought for today  .

Have a lovely evening folks.

Good night
