Ray would not turn around, maybe because I ate his fries. But after all he is not allowed to eat potatoes so I was really helping him stay healthy.
Then tonight I went out to dinner with Barb and Kathy at Minerva's, I had seafood linguini, delicious. Then we went off to guild. It was a good meeting but I could barely stay awake and I forgot to take pictures again.
The speaker was a proponent of the Modern school school of quilting. I am not sure that I like the look of it but I do appreciate the work that goes into those quilts. Too bad I took no pictures. Jan Bednarczyk is her name Just put a .com after her name to get to her site.
She mentions that one of her quilts was from a class by Jane Sassaman.
I took that lecture with Jane Sassaman and found it interesting but did not take the class.
Jan had a lot of quilts to show and I am not happy that I forgot to take photos. Oh well there will be another day.
I got very tired at the meeting and was glad to get home again. Ray comes down to take me up to the apartment. It is very kind of him.
So that was the day for me and it was a full one and a good one.
Sweeethearts, these are adorable. I recall 2 grey owls in Central Park sitting on a branch like this. We watched them the they flew over our heads really close to warn us off. It was a close encounter of a different kind.
Ah Mary found the pattern, no cutting.
