many stars

http://www.victorianaquiltdesigns.com/VictorianaQuilters/PatternPage/MidnightintheGarden/MidnightintheGarden.htm

Here we have a bevy of stars.  They are so pretty .

I bought a magazine today and it was not quilting but it was knitting, just for a change. It has a number of patterns for fingerless gloves and mittens. If I can pull myself together I might knit up a pair or two.

Grocery shopping today, then we spent the afternoon at the casino. I won, Ray lost but I shared my winnings with him.

Good news today, Rick's daughter Katie arrived in Calgary today to stay. I am so happy she has decided to live close to her dad. She will be a great help for him. Katie is a natural nurturer so that is wonderful.   I am looking forward to seeing her next month.

My eye is once again causing me distress. But this week I can phone to see if my eye doctor is coming back from New Zealand and when. Then I will feel okay to go to one of the other doctors in his office.
Flag of New Zealand.

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there. Thank you .

Lovely pink flower box with beautiful geraniums in special colours of pink and white. The  wheels are just an added bit of fun.
I do wonder though how they can open the doors LOL.

See this complicated pattern, it is paper pieced. I have a lovely one that my friend Lindsay made for me many years ago. This is it.

Amazing piece of work isn't it or should I say a piece of art.
Thank you Lindsay, I cherish this piece.

That is all for tonight folks.

Have a lovely evening.
Good night.
