Anita's Arrowhead instructions. I am fascinated with this block and planning on trying it.

The July block of this series is up now. These are lovely blocks , all hearts, one for each month.

There is some fun stuff on this site,  bright and  colourful  fabrics and good ideas for things to make.

Last night Ray and I stayed up until 1:00 watching the 1940  black and white version of Pride and Prejudice with Laurence Olivier and Maureen O'Hara. We had not seen it before. I really enjoyed it , not sure about Ray . After I went to bed I read until the 2:00..
It was 8:00 when I woke up and I was exhausted all morning. So when Lynn came to do the cleaning I went to bed for a nap but the nap became a sleep LOL. Sleep is so refreshing isn't it.

Rick is in a lot of pain from his shoulder, the one he hurt when he was on his boat and something fell on his shoulder. Having been in excruciating pain from a shoulder I can feel how much pain he is in.  I had to have a shoulder replacement. I hope Rick can get some relief from is dreadful pain. He has had so many health issues lately.
Peter is wandering across the middle states and having a wonderful time. Adam and Lisa are in Scotland meeting the Prince.  Jim and Matthew are both working.
That is my family news for today.
Some good , some not so good.

Friendly little guy for Hallowe'en. He is embroidered and I cannot remember the site where I found him. If I encounter it before Hallowe'en I put it up on the blog. In the meantime I will keep on looking.

Lunch in a jar sent by my friend Denise. Just think of the ease of making lunch, no daily putting lunch together. Salad in a jar is the best way to go. Anything you like to eat can be jarred and ready to go. Looks like the hard stuff at the bottom and the lettuce at the top.
Good eating!

Friends on the bed.

Friends on the parking lot. Soldier comes home, dog is overjoyed. Love is wonderful.
Sharing a shave. Remember when your dad used to share his shave with you . Or did your dad use an electric razor rather than a brush and straight razor.  But this is fun , I love the faces.
Friends some more, lots of good pictures today.

Anyway this is the end.
Have a great evening.
Good night.
