hi there

We are back home and we had a good trip except for the pain in my eyes. I think it has to do with air conditioning especially in the car.
It is fun to go away but even more fun to come home.

While we were out we saw an organization for the welfare of dogs and there were some dear little dogs there who were so friendly. Most dogs are friendly , they just want to be loved. I don't recall them asking for donations and I did not think to ask.

I had made my donation for the day. I give to the Liver/Kidney Association a couple of days a year because of my grandson Ryan who has Primary Hyper Oxaluria which began when he was 2 years old.It is a very serious disease of both the liver and the kidneys. Ryan is 20 now and it is a testament to the excellent care his parents have of him throughout the years. So I donate for him.
Then I did donate to the Alberta ALS society for my dear Richard, They have been so good to him. I will do that a few times a year too. We are not rich but can spare some for those we love. My heart is with them both. Life is precious .
We went to the fruit and vegetable stand because I had a craving for fruit. They had plates with samples out on the stands so we had a sample of each fruit set out.

Beautiful isn't it.

Rick just called to say he, Kate and a friend of Kate's went to Niagara Falls today and then they dropped into the casino. It sounded as if they had a lovely day.

We received some wonderful photos of Lisa and Adam's trip to Scotland. Lisa is the primary photographer and she has a wonderful eye for a picture. I'll share some of them with you tonight.
