down but not out

Today I was feeling really down almost depressed but I told myself I had to get up off my hiney and go out. So Ray and I went out and had a bit of lunch. We walked around the mall for a bit of exercise and then left to go to London Drugs where I talked to Thomas the camera expert.  He said all my settings were wrong and he fixed them for me. He wants me to come back in two weeks and to bring a notebook and pen LOL. He was a nice guy , all the people there are so kind and helpful.  No charge !! Again.

Thomas took this picture and I did not have the time to comb my hair LOL. But Ray looks lovely don't you think?

We had to go to Safeway for my eye drops and iron pills. That was the way our day went .

When we came home Jim called , we talked for some time. He is so good about things like dealing with life's problems. Then I called Adam. I wanted him to help me when he comes up in March. We need help to fix our Will, it is the same will we made in 1978 when we were first married. It is time !!!

Buttercup, hmm hardly looks like a buttercup to me but the colours are pretty. I don't know why but these flower type blocks are not favourites for me. Although I have seen a quilt with these flowers and it was quite pretty. I guess it depends on how and where you view it.

Mark Twain said. Last week I stated this woman was the ugliest woman I had ever seen. I have since been visited by her sister and wish to withdraw that statement. Mark Twain had a very wry sense of humour and he made extremely pithy remarks. I think he had never even met the women he was talking about LOL. He reminds me of Winston Churchill who had the same witty and sharp  humour. The other writer with a cutting sense of humour was Oscar Wilde. They make me laugh these guys . Hahaha.

This is such a  beautiful gorgeous sunset.
Playful elephants or is the little guy trying to get up on mom's back.

Now here's what you call a cat nap LOL.

This lovely block was made by my friend Diane for the quilt the ladies in my group are making for Richard. Thank you Diane, it is kind of you to do this for my son.

Oh my gosh , what happened here? I don't believe it.

Time to go folks.
Have a great evening.

Good night.
LOL!

I love the buttercup block. Wouldn't a quilt of all different shades of colors be pretty with this block. It also looks like a tulip and I love tulips. I need to find this pattern.
