Help with choosing colours thar work together. So"nuff said about quilting today.
Some day! It was so unproductive. it started out with trying to get my printer to work so that I could run off the colour chart to the design I wanted to sew . That too a long time and I had to call Ray for help. He finally got it to work. You know how it is you do this , then that and have no idea what you have done so can't repeat it Haha.
Then I got my fabric and stablilzer hooped and that was fun because at first I tried to hoop some batting as well. Thin batting but it was still too much for the hoop.
Hooping done the embroidery began. All seemed to go well unitl I noticed the colours were not right and then discovered that I was doing #9 instead of #4 which was why the colours were not correct. Okay but the colours for all 10 designs were the same pretty well.
Things were going well until I saw the pattern was starting to repeat itself . It was pretty far gone by that time and I just had to remove the whole thing. There was no way it was going to get better. Time for tears LOL. A wasted day and I seldom have a full day at home. So I checked out what the issue was and the file was corrupted. How can that happen?
Then it was dinner time and I don't sew after dinner or in the evening.
Tonight I have to get back to the computer and check out this file and clear off my stick. I think I should write to the designer and see if she knows what went wrong. Yes I'll do that.
Ray was not feeling well because he had an episode of gout during the night. Lots of pain. My poor darling suffers from too many painful diseases.
I had hoped to hear from Sharon to confirm that we were going across the border to quilt shop. So Sharon if you are reading this call me. 604 438 8813 Looking forward to hearing from you. I note you missed the last two weeks at sewing so I hope you are not ill.
So how is the game going Richard. Ricky and Richard love their hockey and there is a game on in Calgary.
