embossing

Busy day as far as places to go. We went to the hospital to see the results of my tests for the cardiologist. He said he was happy with all my numbers and that he wished his kidneys were as good as mine. He even told me I could donate one to Ray if he needed one, just a bit of a joke of course as it isn't quite that simple. So we were in and out of there in no time. We did not have to wait in the office. All in all a good visit.

We came home and I had to eat fast since Kathy was picking me up at 5:00 and we got home from the hospital around 4:00. I had done all my preparations for the class in the morning so we just had to pick up and go.

The class was embossed letters. I was not too successful with my letter or at least my machine did not like it as it was off on the outline and did not fill all the white spaces. But Kathy suggested that I try it again to see if it was the machine or my hooping or something else. If it is not right a second time I'll take it back to Tom's to get it checked out.
But it was fun to see the ladies, usually it is the same women each month so we know each other. That is the plus side of the classes.

Rick called and he said he felt his tongue was being attacked by the ALS and some words would not come out right.  It is awful.

Vegas is on tonight and I plan to watch it if I can keep my eyes open.  LOL.

Busy as a bee.
Kind of cute.

Susan of Starwood Quilter found this block Frolic at McCall's quilting. I think it is a lovely block but a bit complicated.

I really have to go now. So have a great rest of the evening.
Good night. See you tomorrow.
