Saturday

Happy Groundhog Day.

A lazy day but we did get out to McDonald's  for Chicken McNuggets and then to the grocery store for our usual Saturday Shopping. The new Quilting Magazines are out, the magazine lady ws outting them on the shelves . However just as the was happening Ray came around and said it was time to check out. But NEXT week I will have fun checking out the new magazines. Something to look forward to. Oh my our world gets small when we age doesn't it. I am grateful though for small mercies as my mom would say.

We came home and I spent time on the computer looking for some cute Valentine designs , where do the all go and hide from me? All I had time to do was finish off the laundry by that I mean emptying the drier and filling the washer. There is more to come LOL.  I'll check that out tonight. I was tired by then, doesn't take much so I had a nap. Good sleep!!
Saturday we do not feel like cooking so I had a toasted Cappicola and tomato sandwich with pickles. MMM it was good. Methinks another one would make me feel better  Ah yes! However that is not to be since I am not the greedy. I'll have more pickles instead hahaha.
Ray had something while I was sleeping and that would also be a sandwich.
I was looking up a cousin James Foster who passed away during WW2 and found out that his brother my cousin Ted Foster passed on in January. You can tell we have not kept up over the years but the family had one of those obituaries that are on the internet and where you can leave a message. I did that because I was sorry that a cousin of my youth was gone. He and his brothers and sister lived on a ranch in Southern Alberta where I was fortunate to enjoy a different style of living from the city life I have always lived. I had many wonderful adventures there. I believe I mentioned that  ranch the other day. It has been a wonderful memory .

I bought some lovely yellow flowers today to brighten up a foggy winter day. They are very pretty. Chrysanthemums I think.

Air Castle is the name of this one. It has the same components as the ones I need to make for the guild.

These funny things are owls I think, what do you think.
They are so odd looking. But actually kind of cute. LOL.
I call this Gone With the Wind. Great isn`t it.

An Albino  Koala bear up in an Australian  Eucalyptus tree which is where they always are .  I  think that they  come down from the tree  rarely.
The Spirit Bear from the forests of British Columbia .They are some sort of genetic mutation, also known as Kermode bear. It is a brown bear turned white .
I see a weird old owl , apparently they can rotate their heads to 270 degrees . Would you say this was a barred owl? It appears so to me.
This family portrait is amazing, all thos Cheetah babies in one family. Mom must be very busy. These babies are just gorgeous.

Time out!!
Have a great evening folks.
Good night.
