Again we went shopping for groceries, Ray's favourite pasttime.
After we shopped we went for bread and then home . I pulled a bad stunt and dropped a bottle of bread and butter pickles on the tile floor. Yes it shattered and the juice and pickles went all over the floor along with the glass. Ray got the glass and detritus off the floor and we put it into a double set of plastic bags. Then Ray wiped the floor ....wait for it 6 times and it is still sticky, that's a ton of sugar in those pickles. Who would think it. He will do it again tomorrow . I washed the soles of my slippers as I think that might have been a problem and the floor does not stick to my socks. He said the Swiffer worked the best. So hear this ladies Swiffer is the best for spills. We had to wash some towels we used to sop up the brine. The adventures of Ray and Nan, sounds like the Bobbsey Twins. I loved those books when I was about 7 or 8 years old. One of the twins was named Nan and that might have been the attraction.
We met Marg when we went up to our little mall for bread and a few other things. She had been to the library and picked up another Gregg Olsen book A Test of Faith a true story. So I begged to read it next LOL.
We gave Marg a ride home , then we ate some raisin bread and I lay down to read my book for a while and actually had a short nap for a change instead of a long one.
Jim called, we played phone tag all day so we finally got it all together. We talked for a long time, he is coming to Vancouver on the 27th of the month and Rick will be here on the 21st. But Jim plans to stop in Calgary to visit with Rick, Ricky and Peter on the way here.

Momma's leading the way trunk to trunk. So sweet. The baby is so small compared to his mother. Ours are too when I think of it.
Ray is still washing the floor , that stuff is so sticky and very hard to clean up. Any good ideas?

Pineapple heart square. Looks like a good one. I wonder if it is paper pieced. I did a pineapple block once in my early days at a class. I am glad no one checks out my points. No paper piecing on that one.
That's it folks.
Have a great evening
Good night.

Amonnia mixed with hot water. I use Parson's ammonia but that is hard to find anymore.
Store brand should be OK. Jean
