An apple for the teacher

Download now as a pdf pattern
An apple is such a cheerful fruit. Red is such a cheerful colour. This apple will fit in with any Fall quilt.

Bright and cheerful star blocks will make a great quilt or table runner.

This will be a short blog today as we didn't do very much except shop for groceries, had lunch at White Spot and then go to the casino for a bit. I won $275.00 ,shared it with Ray and came home with money. So not a bad day.
We both were tired after  a busy day and not hungry for dinner. I still have not eaten anything but Ray had a sandwich. I plan to get something soon. Haha.

I think this is such a lovely quilt with different coloured Dresden Plates and Nine Patches. I wonder how big it is, it does not appear big enough to me for a bed quilt, maybe a lap quilt. Or a wall hanging. Yes that would work for me.

Well I just ate. I made a green salad of lettuce, cucumber, celery and cubes of Brie with oil and vinegar. It was delicious. I love that salad which I call my green salad.
Then I broke down and ate some Cheezies , another favourite of mine. Now I am happy and full.
We are watching the Canucks and the hockey game against Edmonton. We are ahead at the moment 3 to 1. We lost our first game to San Jose a few days ago.
Tonight I put up my Halloween hangings, the pumpkin one and the small green and black hanging for the entrance door. So it is all set for the season.

I told Ray I had to stay in tomorrow and sew on my latest table topper. I want to finish it this week and have it ready to show at the guild meeting on Wednesday night.

I thought I would show this amazing quilt for your viewing pleasure.

and for you amusement here is a cat in a contortion trying for a drink.

And that is all for tonight folks.
Have a lovely evening.
Good night.
