Did you know there is always a freebie for QM's FB friends? From a regular computer (not a mobile device), go to the Quiltmaker page at facebook.com/quiltmakermag (you can't access the freebie from your newsfeed) and click on Free Stuff for Fans. Download and get sewing!

Nice Seasonal table topper. The pattern is in the small print above the quilt. You need a magnifier to see this one.

This is late already because we had Peter #3 son here for a visit . It was a lovely visit and we enjoyed it very much.
As for the day we pretty well stayed in for the morning and then we went to Telus for my second lesson on how to use my new phone.  Really it is just too complicated these days and all I am going to do is call Ray on the way home from my sewing day.  LOL. Oh and it has a camera too but I can't take the pictures off the camera and onto my computer. I think they are making things far too complicated these days. I guess they are not too hard for all the clever younger people but they are difficult for me. However I will learn some of it  in time.
We got home in time for Peter to arrive at 4:30 and so it went.
I made Peter a ham sandwich and some carrot cake for supper. It was from the ham we cooked yesterday.
I have been trying to print this off on my printer which  refuses to work for m when e. It seems things just don't work in this house. Oh well maybe when Jim comes down maybe he'll help me with it. I can wait.

She is not too happy with this costume and bag but I think she looks wonderful. Haha A Halloween corn candy, no wonder she is crying .

Have a look here for a tutorial or what you would call a lesson.

http://www.quiltersparadiseesc.com/Calculators.php  and this is handy place to find out how things can be cut from your fabric to get the most  from it and no waste.
Well I have lost some of this blog into the ether so I have to try and remember.
I do recall this little girl and wonder why she is crying. Maybe she doesn't like her corn candy costume.
But to me she is cute and adorable.

And so is she, my granddaughter Kate who has good glutes.
As well being a very clever young woman, so brains and beauty I would call her.

I'll never eat them again LOL.

I have no more to say.

A darling child and she has had surgery as you can see. I love this picture and want to share it with you.
And that is all for now.

Have a great evening.
Good night.
