At the url above learn how to quilt without any templates, freehand I'd call it.  But it has a number of good ideas for the modern quilter.

Today Ray and I went to the podiatrist. I have been going for some years , first to get my feet checked out and then to get my nails cut. Because I have neuropathy on my feet I want them to be checked out by a specialist. And I can't get down there to cut my nails LOL.
Ray has begun to have trouble cutting his nails too so he also had an appointment with Dr. Lai. who stuck pins in his feet to see how the nerves were faring. He has some damage too. Then the doctor cut his nails too.
That was the beginning of our day.
I had messed up my laptop so it had to go to London Drugs for Dave to fix. While it was there we went to McDonald's fora hamburger and coffee.
We went inot Canadian Tire, Ray's favourite store. We bought a couple of things, needed the mitts that keep the heat from your hands and two red tea towels.
Then we went back for the laptop. Dave did not charge us, he is so good.
After that we came home and I played with my computer and started the blog. Then I had a nap. Catching up from last night! LOL.

Do you sometimes feel like this? Haha

Monkey mittens for you to knit for a grandchild.

This one is so cute- a boy and his dog.
I love this picture. A soldier and the puppies. Wonder where momma is.

This is a hanging for my door but the light in the hall is not good and all that is blue in this picture is actually black.

This beautiful quilt is one of the guest speaker's  work. She had some gorgeous quilts and all of them had the back as another quilt. Some gorgeous pieces of work and so little space to show them,

And this one below is the same quilt front and back.

She had a number of lovely quilts to show.

This lovely log cabin table topper is these gorgeous colours  will grace your Thanksgiving table.

Cheeky cat. Who cares!

And the mouse who does care . But right now he is enveloping himself in the scent of lilac.

That is it for tonight folks.
