Twist and Turn is the name of this quilt, all straight lines and 

angles. Make this one fairly easy it is just the slim lines  that may be hard to keep straight.

Well I got out today for a while. I felt better and needed to get out and walk a bit. So we went to McDonald.s for lunch , had to walk form the car LOL. We had chicken McNugget's and barbecue sauce. We shared 10 nuggets so that was 5 each. And we had a coffee each. Then we went to London Drugs to the back of the store , more walking LOL. We wanted to get something copied as my machine is not working. Something simple I am sure but we need to wait for Jim to come down from Edmonton in November. I probably turned something off.

Who knows?  

We had to go across the highway to look for the pens I like. They did not have them so I bought something else. Several something elses. I hope I like them as much as the one I have. I got my copying done there at Staples. It is the list of my medications for Dr. Horne.

By this time I was a bit worn out so we came home and I lay down and read for a while and then fell asleep for a short nap. 

I warmed up the rest of the pea soup for dinner. Tomorrow I want Ray to make his superb beef and  Barley soup. We have to buy the ingredients though.

RicK called and we had a good talk. His ALS has halted for a while, how long we don't know. He has lost the total use of his legs but his upper body seems to be working so far. It is a temporary halt but of course it is better than a fast decline. He said that there was a woman in Scotland who was diagnosed in February and is now completely bed ridden and declining fast.  It is such a horrible disease. I cry for my dear boy. But for now he is happy. That counts!

So it is and do we turn back the clock tonight or is that next weekend. I used to hate summer time when I was working and loved it when the clock was turned back in the fall.

LOL I love this one.

Today I bagen to crochet a hat. I haven't crocheted for a long, long time. I hope it turns out right. If not I have wasted one ball of yarn.

When it is  a bit larger I will take a picture and post it on my blog. The yarn is a pretty blue with tiny sequins in the yarn.  I am feeling good about this one, so hope all goes well.

That seems to be the extent of my thoughts for today LOL.
