No picture but lots to see on this site . It shows a good tutorial of a hot pad for Christmas.
We got up this morning, did not eat anything as I had fasting tests . Off to the clinic and , got them done then went down to Kingsway and Knight road to breakfast at White Spot. We ordered bacon and eggs. Mine came with hash browns or as the waitress called them smashed potatoes LOL. Ray's came with tomatoes as he is not allowed potatoes. Bad kidneys are affected by potatoes. We enjoyed our breakfast.
We took in Safeway or Loblaws as it is now but still called Safeway. I asked the new manager a question and he was quite off putting. He actually turned me off so much that I don't plan to shop there any more. I will have to go and tell the pharmacy that my medicines will now be dispensed at Extra Foods. That will be it. I think that sometimes stores forget that customers have many options in a big city.
We went up to the pharmacy at another mall because it has the
Post Office and we had one letter to mail. I had forgotten about the Christmas rush so there was a big line up but it moved quickly.
Then we went over to our little Champlain Mall for a coffee and a look in Extra Foods. I wanted one of the Meat pies (full size pie) that I had the other day but there was none. Sigh! I like that meat pie with a bit
of gravy.
Then we came home and Marg came over with two books for me. Thanks Marg. She visited for a while, we had a nice time with her.
Dinner time, we had buns with butter, mustard and mayo along with roast beef, cheese, onion and nothing else. We ate and it was good.
Now we are watching TV and I am writing my blog. It has been a busy day but a good one. And I did not need a nap!
I love this quilt and first saw the makings of it in a Keepsake Quilting catalogue. It has since been removed from the latest catalogues. It is adorable though and demonstrates a good use of a panel.
And another adorable young animal is this one.

Indian Star is the name of this block. Easy making!
A jig saw quilt . At first I called it a crossword quilt. Silly me. I think this one is really attractive, don't you?
So that's all for tonight.
Have a lovely evening folks.
Good night.
