tragedy

Learn the trick to lining your tote bags in this helpful tutorial! Click http://bit.ly/IsrZnH

What a  lovely shopping bag. And I believe it is lined. Maybe a plastic lining will help make it easier to clean.

We received some terrible news tonight. Our nephew Lawrence called to say that Ray's eldest sister's daughter , our niece was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer and has only 3 months to live. We are devastated by this news and Gerry, his sister is beside herself with grief. His family is riddled with cancer deaths. His dad, sister , brother. uncle, cousin  and now a new generation , his niece. I feel so sad for him and I know he is frightened every time someone else in his family is stricken with cancer. It is a horrible disease.  Please  Pray for Denise.

We went to London Drugs and bought the cartridges for my printer. It was a long day out as after shopping in London Drugs we went to Metrotown to talk to Telus about my new phone which I cannot figure out. They had a flip top cell phone and gave me a price on it that I could not refuse. So I bought it but have to go through the book. I know I am really stupid as far as these phones are concerned even though I am fairly competent with my computer. I have to get this one figured out or do without. I rarely ever use it anyway. I much prefer to sit in my chair and call someone if I want to connect with them.

Block of the Day   The Sickle is the name of this one.

After our visit to Telus we went around to Target . I wanted to see the toys but there wasn't anything I wanted for the girls. I am going to try Walmart next.

Then we went downstairs to the Christmas store. Nice stuff there but again we bought nothing.

So off to the elevators  to go back upstairs tot he car. It is awe inspiring to see the size and number of baby strollers. There are so many of them and only two can fit into the elevators. Then there are the walkers and the wheel chairs. I am guilty of using the walker so I am in the company of vehicles. LOL.

We stopped to sit at the tables for a bit. There was a group of Chinese people at the handicapped table but they were so nice and jumped up and left the table for me. So nice. The Christmas spirit is alive and well in Vancouver. I have so many young people hold open doors for me. They are just great. I am happy.

It is pretty cold here right now. Probably not cold for those in other parts of the continent but definitely cold for us.  They are talking about snow soon.Bah humbug!

I love this picture, three babies, how beautiful.

This is a beautiful quilt TATW.

And here is the quilting from the back.
Breathtaking isn't it.

Hmm a teenager in the group. the eggs must have been laid a week apart.

Now I have to go , it is a bit emotional here tonight.

Thanks for listening folks.
Have a great evening.
Good night!
