Texas Shoofly
I love this block whether it is the colours or the shapes or both.
It is a lovely block and looks fairly easy.
I am still sick wth this cough and cold but it is getting a bit better. I have hopes for tomorrow. So I am getting in my TV watching caught up. Today I watched a young Errol Flynn being civil war general. He fought at the battle of Little Big Horn and of course did not come back to his family. I got the impression that it was a huge disaster for the Americans.
But that is all I did today except sleep a lot. Isn't that bad? But my night time sleep is not good.
We discovered today that our granddaughter is having a baby boy in a couple of months. That will be Charlotte's mom Meaghan.
I am happy for her. That will make one of each for both sisters Mary and Meaghan. I had five boys, no girls. Do you detect a bit of envy in that sentence? But fortunately I do have four granddaughters and two great granddaughters. So I had to wait a bit but was lucky. Lots of grands for me. And I dearly love all my boys abd feel grateful for them. It is fairly unique to have that many sons.
Bos's stained glass quilt says to label on the quilt.
Can you relate to this one? Lots of ladies do and make comments on it.
And Keepsake Quilting in New Hampshire has benches outside for the husbands to sit on and chat with each other or read or whatever.
Looks like that is all folks for tonight.
Have a great evening.
Good night.
This is amazing, gorgeous piecing and stunning quilting.
A delightful bag perhaps for lunch.
