There's the works for today.

Sam called and took us for lunch today. It was a long visit as it has been a while since we have seen each other. Sam has been very busy with work and business visit in Israel. I worry about him in that part of the world. Just saw on the news that there were attacks on Israel. But then Sam has to go so he takes the risks. He is my eldest grandson and will be 37 in November . So hard to realize, time just flies!

Sam between Ray and me at the Tea House in April this year,  a gift from Adam and Lisa for my 80th birthday as it was somewhere I had never been and always wanted to go.

After our visit with Sam we went to the bakery for bread and to the post office for Ray to mail an application for a handicap card for his car. The doctor gave him the permission slip. He is so bad these days . We both were laughing today because it is so painful for us to get around and we are still out and about every day. It is very slow but we do it. Ray has the knowledge that he will get better after he has the  procedure but I won't improve according to the doctor. So I need to keep what I have by walking out each day.

We went to Sears , I wanted to see the winter line and it was awful. I have never liked winter clothes but thought maybe this year !!
I had a short nap when I got home, read for a bit first then napped.

I did the pressing on a few of my small blocks to determine the sewing lines but after a short time I stopped. Tomorrow the cleaning lady comes so I won't be going out and I can finish them then while she works in the back of the apartment. After she goes I can sew. Good day !

Watching the news.
A point of grammar. Did you know or care for that matter that after you type a period on the computer you should leave a space before you start the next sentence. The argument is between those who say on space and those who say two spaces. Life must have nothing exciting for these folk, unless you are a grammarian of course.

What a block I think the notation said it was in the magazine 100 Blocks and that a new 100 Blocks is about the come on the market.
This blocks is called Talkin' Turkey by Bonnie Hunter. It is on page 59 and block #471. I do have the magazine LOL. I always buy this magazine.

Big and little but different species haha. It is so cute to see this tiny girl kissing the great big horse. Amazing how she is able to stand on her tippy toes. But she is wearing a tutu so maybe she takes ballet.
Nice cuddle, nice sleep but what is that little face peeking out.

Wow pretty stunning carving isn't it. Some people are just so talented.

Boy that bath is GOOD!!  I'm singing!

Nothin' more to say.

And that goes for me too LOL>
Have a great evening.

Buona Sera
