Crazy Kalidaescope  or maybe Krazy Kalidaescope. Crazy spelling!!!

Sorry to have missed last night but I could barely keep my head up.
However it was an interesting evening. There were four of us for dinner which is a big plus. Often there are just three, someone is unable to come. Then it was off to the guild. We had a very interesting speaker who entertained with a trunk show of antique quilts that she had collected from all over . Many were from the USA. She bought lots of them from quilt shops. I have  not seen antique quilt for sale at quilt shops. At least not here in Vancouver and environs.   It was a fairly long trunk show but a good one.  Some of the fabrics were very fragile and on some of the quilts the fabric on squares was shredded. So we realized how difficult i must be to preserve them.
Then we had our own trunk show which was good too and I forgot to take photographs of any of the quilts.  I could not believe I forgot to do that.
Once again I blame the tiredness that overcomes me. Today was the same thing. Ray and I went out to Metrotown to get Ray's glasses fixed  . We walked down to McDonald's , had a bit of lunch and shopped for a gift for Charlotte for her birthday present.

That's a little purse on top of the dress.
There's the  purse with hearts all over it.

By then once again I was tired . We came home and I slept for two hours.  It's a good thing I am going to the doctor next week on Friday. However the nap set me up and I feel fine right now.

This old dog is 19 years old and is tired too but he gets to ride in the wagon. I wish I had a wagon LOL. I told Ray today I wanted a wheelchair. I don't really but some days it feels like I need one.

I love these old Singers, there seem to be many around still. This one is in incredibly nice shape with perfect decals.

Every quilter needs a parrot to say what we don't like to say. Haha.

Now here's quilt!!  Take you kids old tee shirts , cut out the centres where the picture is . I think you may need to back them with stabilizer  and then sew them together in a pleasant arrangement. There you have it  , a T shirt quilt. This one looks very nice.

In the deep freeze yesterday , this light house fell victim to a severe cold and froze right up.

This dog has a load. But aren't they sweet. Mom doesn't look too happy though, it's a lot of work.

Look at this beautiful string glass. Gorgeous colours. I would love some of this.

And finally

Cute little owl .

That's all folks.
Have a great evening .
Good night.
