Good little block

Download now as a pdf pattern

Known as Star. Simple title of a block using the half rectangle  if you can see what I mean. I like these colours, plum and pink.

I had a good day today as it is Tuesday and I went with Pat to Starbucks and then to our quilting group. I only went to the morning one as going to two groups, morning and afternoon and then to Tea at Betty's is to much of a long day for me. So I came home with Pat just after lunch.

It was a lovely morning. I sat with Sharons on either side of me, Sharon G. And Sharon C.  Sharon G was closest to me so we talked a lot, some about Richard, some about sewing and fabrics.
I appliqued a whole heart today , an improvement over the half I had been doing in previous weeks. So progress is being made. All the hearts I have done are reds and all different reds at that.
I need to think about doing something other than hearts. I want to make another Sunbonnet Sue quilt with maybe a Sam as well as a Sue. That would be fun.  I thought I had the Eleanor Burns book but can't find it. Either I did not have it or lent it out to somebody . I wonder if the library has it. Or I could buy one. I checked the book out on line and there are options LOL.

When I got home the roofer was here checking out the hole in the upper deck of the apartment that was leaking the other night during the heavy rain.  I think he fixed it , but who knows for sure until the next heavy rain falls. It reminds me of the fable of the chicken who had a hole in the roof and waited to call the roofer when it was dry. Then refused to get it fixed because it was not leaking then LOL.

And then I had a good nap until the phone woke me up.
We continued to eat that pork loin for dinner. I am tired of it now and will want something else tomorrow. Three days is quite enough for me of anything.

My knuckles are very sore tonight, just a bit of arthritis I guess. So I don't think I'll type for long.

I love this cat,he looks so happy and contented.

Today's pickin's

Betty is into green right now , green and circles.

And owls.

Scrap quilts to come.

I call this one a staircase quilt.

Sharon C. made her bits and pieces quilt out of bits and pieces.

This one is very attractive , another scrappy.

Sharon G. Made this wonderful alphabet quilt . She appliqued the prairie points down, you can just see them, because when the previous quilt she made was washed the prairie points did not stand up right.

And one dog.

Time to go folks.
Have a lovely evening.

Good night.
