Another   great day. Jim and Ray went off to pick up a couple of items  just to finish off the job. It looks lovely and clean. Our cleaning lady will like this look when she comes tomorrow. Not that it was ever dirty but things just shine with a new paint job. Thanks Jim for doing all that work.

Adam came over and I asked him to take me to the big Save On Food store because I wanted to find a copy of 100 Blocks  magazine. But no luck. We picked up a couple of food items and then Adam and I went to Mr. Ho's for lunch. We had a good lunch and a nice long chat. It has been a while since we were able to do that and we enjoyed it. We did not eat all our food of course because the plates are always loaded at Mr. Ho's, so we brought the rest home for dinner for Ray and Jim.

We all spent the afternoon watching football. Our team lost by a couple of points after leading for most of the game. That is life!

Adam went back to Sam's after the games but he will be  back again tomorrow. It has been so enjoyable to have my sons here this week.

And we hope that Peter will be able to come and visit tomorrow. What a great month for us.

I had a very strange e mail or should I say comment on my blog today. I thought it must be talking about someone else but no it was me. I showed it to Adam who said it was not about me. I know he is prejudiced in my favour as he is my son but I have always valued his opinion. I read it to Jim and Ray and they both agreed with Adam. I am sorry a reader thinks so badly of me but still happy that my family thinks well of me.  I did not publish it yet but if anyone thinks that I should just let me know.

This is such an adorable quilt. I did not make it but I think it is gorgeous.  Actually maybe I will make one. It is about time.I made this picture extra large so it could be seen properly.

My great grandson Adam . He lives in Lake Charles Louisiana where Adam and Lisa live. Not in the same house though LOL.  He is Aaron's son and such a lovely boy.

My friend Sallie sent this photo of a beautiful old space heater. Many houses did not have furnaces in the early days of the 20th century and used these heaters to keep rooms warm. This one is beautifully decorated.

hmm this little guy has taken the wrong road and the penguins seem to be astounded to discover him under their feathers.

Sewing machine from the 1980s. Remember the one I put up from the 1970s. This is #2 of a series of four. Two more to go .....

My prayers are with those in the Philipines who have lost so much.

Time to go folks.
Have a good evening.
Good night.
