A hexagon tree skirt, something a bit different.
My dear departed mother in law used to do this kind of work usually tablecloths. I might have a piece left in my linen closet. I gave one piece to my stepdaughter as it was made by her grandma. I kept the other piece. Here it is.
At noon today we had an appointment to get our hair cut. It is funny when you get a cut. Same hair , same hairdresser , different look. You either like it or you don't. Last cut I had was not to my liking. But I do like today's cut, think I'll keep it LOL.
Then we went to Subway for a sandwich. We bought a 6 inch sub and shared it along with a cup of coffee.
I got my hair cut first because I had an appointment with the chiropractor at 1:00. It was a good session with Dr. Rai. He said my back was pretty good considering I had been in the hospital. It was better than he expected. We were both happy about that.
Afterwards though I felt a bit tired and we came home. I had a long nap and felt much better . In the meantime Ray out the beef roast in the oven. It came out tough as leather. I wonder what it it about beef. In order to be able to eat it I'll put it in the slow cooker. Who knows what will come about LOL.
I had wanted to go to the library today but that will be a job for tomorrow. We need to buy a baster, Jim used ours when he was painting the bathrooms. I wonder what he used it for.
I really want to do some machine embroidery. Yesterday I bought a couple of designs for Christmas towels, His and Hers. Hopefully I can get at one of them at least tomorrow.
