This is an unusual looking block with common pieces arranged in a unique format.

I am watching the news of the Philippines . Our cleaning lady Lynn has family there. I am finding it difficult to focus on anything else tonight. The damage is unbelievable and the poor people of that country have lost homes , are now desperately in need of food , water and shelter.   It is utterly devastating.

I had a great nap this afternoon , obviously needed that. Tomorrow I think I might go out .

Tomorrow is guild night but I am not quite prepared to go out at night yet. 

I am sorry but I am not able to focus very well tonight  for some reason.  I can't think very well . Every time I go looking for something I forget what it was I wanted. I guess I need more sleep.

Remember this package of lovely reds. I ordered a package of my won and it arrived today. I have not opened it yet , still thinking of how I will put them together. Do I just set the hexagons or do I draw a 1/4 " line and sew on this line. This will be an exciting project.

This is the tree outside my window, usually so beautiful and now not.

Whoops, a small accident but he tried to fix it. Will it last? I love his grimace.
