This is a lovely little crumb catcher. A nice bit of piecing and a great table catcher.
This is a picture of our street last month. I love this street. But the leaves have mostly fallen now. They started while I was in the hospital, sneaky leaves LOL.
Not a very fulfilling day today. We sat and Jim painted most of the day. He is so meticulous, everything is perfect. I am most grateful to him for helping us out .
Adam is here and that always is enjoyable even if we don't say much. He reads and I do my computering, Ray watches TV and Jim works. Right now Jim is out running. He has always been a great exerciser.
Adam is on the Atkins diet so it is a challenge for me to get it all right. However for the most part he takes care of himself. We are having spaghetti and sauce so I have no idea what my poor boy is going to have. It will be a surprise for me.
The surprise is Adam and Jim went out for dinner and Ray and I had spaghetti. It is nice for the brothers to go out together. Ray and I are happy about that.
I think I'll pick up a steak for Adam and Jim for tomorrow's dinner. That is if we don't go out. If we do the steak will work for the following day.
Now this is relaxed, part of him is still on the chair LOL.
I used to own one of these. the hole at the bottom uses gravity to empty the dirty wash water into a bucket . My dad put that soapy water on his garden , I think he said it would kill the bugs that ate the plants.

However it was a huge job to do the laundry and wring everything out on the wringer. Much work!
