I don't usually  like these pieced flowers but this tulip is pretty nice. So here it is, pretty and realistic.

And on this day, a Thursday,we had an early start.  It was really cold for here.  I had an appointment with our regular doctor at 9:45 A.M. to talk about my stomach problems from all the medicines I am taking for my heart. It is the new medicines that are the cause of the problem and she said to take one more of the pantaloc or take some Tums. Well I took the Tums late in the afternoon and that seems to have worked. It is all a balancing act.
After that we went to Richmond and to McDonald's  for a breakfast sandwich. We like those but rarely get to have one since we are never out that early in the day so miss the breakfast time at McDonald's. So today was a bit of a treat but not quilt as good as I remembered. Memory fades as I have mentioned before.
We went to River Rock hotel which was actually the reason  we were in Richmond. We wanted to check out the hotel and the parking as the Albion Christmas party is on Saturday and we have been invited. We are both looking forward to the evening and seeing the people whom we know. Not as many as previous years but still there are a few. So it should be fun and the food is always magnificent. I'll take pictures. LOL. I told Ray to remind me.
The parking situation is valet parking for $12 so we plan to go that route.
We went to LazyBoy, saw Caroline and checked out the chairs but did not buy one. Nice furniture in that store.
After checking out the parking we left to come back across the bridge and went to Metrotown for a coffee and a look at the new Target store. It was not all that interesting and the merchandise is somewhat like that of  WalMart.

We came home and I had a nap. It was a lot for me to do and I was tired. I did not do any embroidering today. And I was planning on going to Embroidery Club tonight with Kathy but I had to cancel my date with her.
Another time, I am thinking January . I should be in great shape by then.
I had a nice talk with Richard today too. I am happy that he calls me nearly every day. But he is going away for the weekend so he wanted me to know that. He is good at keeping me informed.

I am not sure when this picture was taken but dear little Charlotte is eating her fill. I like her sweater.

Trunk Show
A quilt with different blocks, simple to make .

Butterflies. As if you couldn't guess.

I like this wall hanging.

A perfect classic quilt.

Wow and wow.

Amazing bargello quilt I wonder how it is made.

Chickens are so funny. Ray and I were talking about the rooster who was sitting on the bench at the bus stop.  It always makes us laugh.

Time for me to go folks.
Have a lovely evening.

Good night.
