Milky Way I can just imagine how a number ofthese blocks would make a very interesting pattern.

I had a MIBI this morning or at least one section of it. Tomorrow I'll have the second part. We had to get up pretty early for us as we needed to be at thehospital at 8:15 for the beginning of the test. Not that it even began that early. That was the learning to sit and wait part LOL. Eventually we got to partake in the event. They put an IV in my arm and then I had to wait some more . But we did get to the main event after a while. They put a drug called persantine into the IV. It stimulates the heart to behave as if you are exercising on a treadmill. Not nice for me as I developed a big headache and had big chest pains. Thankfully they watch the machine like a hawk. Then when it is over they give you an antidote to take the pain away and send you off to have a big coffee and something to eat. So I had a coffee , a salad and chili. Then we met Laurie, the daughter of a teaching colleague whom I have know since she was a child.
She sat with us for some time and brought me some of her salmon that she had for her lunch. It was good, so I had a lot to eat, which would have made the doctor happy. Then after 45 minutes we went to another room where they took pictures of my heart under stress. Tomorrow it will be at rest. Ray had a doctor appointment over on the North Shore at a hospital there but there was not enough time to get there so he called and they were very good about it and cancelled the appointment. We came home after that. I was pretty tired so you can guess what I did. LOL
Yep read a few pages and fell asleep. Another exciting day in the life of....  NOT..
We are hoping to get a few weeks off from doctors and hospitals.
Jim is coming down on Sunday so we'll have a good visit with him. His birthday is on the 24th and he want to go to Mr. Ho's or as he calls it Ho Chi Minh. He is a funny guy.
Rick has gone to Abu Dhabi to give a class on how to ace the test for  Project Management. It is Peter's business and he hires Rick as a teacher. However he is closing this business down and working for the Calgary Board of Education. Not enough of the project managemnt business nowadays.
We have been keeping the post office in business lately. I sent a quilt to Kate in Ontario and that cost $22.00, Ray sent a book to Quebec for Hayley Rose $13 .95 ,some licorice  pipes for Jack same price and some licorice pipes for Lynn again the same price.
Time to stop LOL.

So Marg did you laugh LOL.
