You won't believe this one

I'm crying in my soup, just lost my almost finished blog. Wa,wa,wa.  How can that be? So here goes I must do another one. Crapola Viola!!!!!!
First day of fall and here is a lovely quilt to show off  the season.
Hard to believe it is a quilt ! It has so much depth, such beautiful colours and the sense of fall. I love this beautiful season with all the lovely colours, the little nip in the morning air, the smell of the leaves piled up on the streets and the promise of harvest.
So this morning we did the usual grocery shopping and I did not buy a quilt magazine. I buy them when they are new on the market but right now I have bought mine for the past issues. Now I await the new ones to come. I only buy one or maybe two if I just have to have them. Or none if there is nothing I like in them.
After we brought the foodstuffs home we decided to go to the  casino and called Marg to see if she wanted to go with us. She did and off we went. Marg won $256 or around that, but Ray and I won nothing, in truth we lost this time. But it was a good day. When we got home we had Bavarian smokies with mustard and that was all. I had one and a half but Ray had two of the smokies.
Now we are watching the football game and B.C. Lions are losing. They were losing right from the beginning, the Edmonton team is showing us up.

 Red and white ...
Take a peek at an assortment of red quilts by Raw Edges quilting group of Plano, Texas:

Click and have a look at all the red and white quilts. You can make any quilt that is a two colour quilt into a red and white or any other 2 colours you may prefer.

Now isn't that friendly?

Two colours, black and white. Isn't that a song from somewhere, do I think maybe Michael Jackson? I am often wrong about such things....

Yesterday a kitten, today a puppy. Tomorrow?

Haha any port in a storm as my mom used to say.
Marg, a gift suggestion for Chrissie LOL. Or a ball of yarn would be nice, I can fix her up with that.

I wish I could have one of these Chocolate Labs but we can't look after them so I just enjoy the dogs on my blog. Look at the little guy with his paw over his sister's eye protecting her from seeing something she shouldn't LOL. They are precious.

Can you believe this one. Somebody knit this house from a variety of materials. Janet sent this one in to FB.  I guess you can knit anything LOL.

Aha the Block of the Day, Mosaic.

Download now as a pdf pattern

So that's about it folks.
Have a lovely evening.
Buona Sera.
