Go to the corner

Four Corners is the name of this block. Very simple but you can dress it up with putting something lovely in the center either as one square of as 4 different fabric squares.

Pretty isn't it. You can find it, I did LOL.

We went for our groceries this morning . Man things are getting very expensive. We wented to buy a roast for dinner but it was $21 and we both thought it was a bit expensive. We had one at home in the freezer so we decided to take it out and thaw it for tomorrow. I am looking forward to eating it as I love a pork roast and Ray loves it cold in sandwiches. Personally I love the gravy I make  from the meat juices left in the pan. Oh tomorrow can't come too soon. The past couple of days I have just had a lettuce salad with cucumber and celery with oil and vinegar  dressing. MMM I love that too. But meat seems to be a good idea LOL.

Tom was having a grand opening of his new store today with hamburgers, hot dogs and cake. We went to see how things were but we didn't eat anything. It was very busy, people everywhere , lots of fabric cutting and buying going on. I saw some folks that I knew so that was nice.  My machine part has not arrived from the moon or Jupiter or wherever it is. I hope it comes this year. LOL I did order the circular attachment for my 6699 sewing machine though. I think it will be good for quilting my Drunkard's Path  whenever I have the strength to get back to it. Maybe next week !!
I did see a video of how the attachment works and I am sure Tom will give me a lesson .  It was too crowded for me to get around the store so we left early. I can call and ask him or Kerri for what I want. Sometimes they have good basic fabrics on sale.

A little joke for us older people.

One has to keep an eye on these doctors LOL.
My friend Gail loves purple so this would be a good choice for her LOL. Lovely isn't it.
To a cat we all look stupid all the time Haha. They are the master race!!

A lovely nine patch and socks to match :)) I have seen some great nine patch quilts but they really need to have time spent on organizing them so they have the best features showing. One thing about nine patches you can make them over time as you make other blocks and save the leftover pieces to make them.

Time for me to go.
I hope your evening was lovely.
