pretty things

Download now as a pdf pattern
Toy boat, say that three times quickly LOL. Nice little pattern for a boy's quilt.

This is Susan's Grape Basket. Very pretty but no pattern. However it is a 10 inch block with 5  two inch blocks across and the same down, so most of you can figure it out yourselves is you want to make it.
I wanted to do pretty things today so here is a lot of pretty yellows.

More pretties....
.... a beautiful sunset or is it sunrise. Whatever it is stunning!
Bonding is another beautiful thing. This is what love looks like wouldn't you say?

From the sublime to the normal. This morning Ray and I had to go for blood tests after fasting for 13 hours. I did not get much sleep so that combined with not eating left me rather shaky. Thank goodness we had made appointments at the clinic which meant no having to wait. They took three vials from me and two from Ray. I have had so many blood test lately I won't have much left LOL.
Then we went to IHOP for breakfast. I was very eager to eat Haha.
Omelette, and pancakes. Oh so good!
We came home and I just had to catch up on my sleep. So I had a long nap.
Then we went to the bank to get my new credit card activated. They said there was some irregular activity on my old card, however I check the items on all my cards and bank accounts and have found nothing. My assumption is that they tried to use my card and the bank caught them out.
We went to the grocery store to pick up some meat for my lunch tomorrow when I go to my sewing groups. Oh happy day!
We came home again and I paid off some bills and them made dinner for me. Ray didn't want any . He has been odd again today and slept a lot of the afternoon. He is in a lot of pain so it is good that he can sleep. He sees one back doctor on Wednesday and goes to the hospital in North Van on Thursday. I hope they can offer him some help.
I did some knitting on my yellow dishcloth while I watched Jessica which is what we call Murder She Wrote.
Blair House  in Menocino which stands in for Cabot Cove Me. Pretty place.

Here is another beautiful sight. Swans are the most elegant of all birds. The little cygnet is going for a ride LOL. Are there more I wonder.
Hyacinth Macaws the largest od all the macaws. The blue is so electric and the yellow band makes these birds look as if they are smiling. They are an endangered species dut to overcollection for the pet trade in the 80s and for loss of habitat due to tree cutting. They live in Eastern and central South America.

Time to go  friends. I do appreciate my readers.
Have a great evening!
A Gut ovent.
