Mrs.Keller

Download now as a pdf pattern
Mrs. Keller!! That is my mom's name . Now she has a block though she has been gone since '78.

This is a great mystery quilt of Ben Franklin blocks, the first four already showing. I love the fabrics used in these blocks. They are very patriotic ones.

An interesting look at the recent evolution of the 9 patch block and thus a quilt if you make enough blocks :)))

We were a bit later getting up this morning, just breakfast, reading the paper and watching Perry Mason and the old Hawaii 5 0 .

An interesting day with Jim and Ricky. Good conversation and when we went out to Mr. Ho's good food. But Ray and I are both a bit tired of Chinese food so won't be going for a while. We have been too often lately and need a break. Imagine needing a break from Chinese food. LOL. I have noticed though that I have not had much of an appetite lately for anything.
Jim came in about 1:00 PM just a short drive from Kamloops, 3 1/2 hours from Vancouver. It is so good to see him, he is funny and amuses us with his jokes and kidding around.
Margaret came over this afternoon with some chocolate croissants which were delicious, it was so kind of her. So we passed the afternoon  very nicely.
It was all a very good day.

Picture show time!
See the secondary pattern coming out on this quilt. I have no pattern but it is a lovely piece to show and a nice use of solids.
I have some nice horse photos so tonight will be horse night and not at the races LOL. Unusual friends these two.

Everyone wants to get on a horses back, especially mom's back. Haha.
Adorable Madonna and child, that's her name Madonna.
Oh you wonderful creature, how clever you are.
Love in any language is grand!

Last one, a very pretty Dresden Plate.

Time is up , I am going to refrain from talking haha.
Have a great evening folks.
Buona Sera.
