Blocks from September to November , blocks to applique if you have the timeto make the commitment to applique. If you belong to a sewing group where you can only do hand work these blocks will set you up for months to come and months of pleasure.

An easy block from Susan ,Starwood Quilter, that comes with no instructions but you can no doubt figure it out.  This block is a 6 inch block, go from there.

Download now as a pdf pattern

Block is called Propellor and this one looks like a propellor. It is from Quilt Pro.

We had a nice day, lunch with Bob And Buzz. It is always a friendly time for us, with lots of laughs and stories. They had a car accident recently , a woman drove her car right into the side of their car. She was turning left on an green light and they were going straight through. She kept saying the light was green. Yes it was but that doesn't mean you can go when the traffic is going straight. She didn't get that. How did she get a licence I wonder. Buzz has some damage to her shoulder and has to go to therapy. So far it is still very sore. But Buzz is always happy and fun.

However Buzz I tried the thing you said to do about the Fonts and it did not show what you suggested. I am taking it to the store tomorrow regarding the strange happenings when I click on the magnifier. I'll tell you tomorrow if I get it fixed or get a new one.
Buzz is my guru when it comes to computers as all my family experts are in other cities.

We came home after that . As usual I had to take a nap but this one was short  and I read for a bit , finished the book . One more off the pile. LOL.

I actually wanted to look for a reader, don't know what they are called . I thought that maybe there would be something as it was supposed to be Black Friday here too but as I can't travel too far  I wasn't able to find one. I think I'll begin at Chapters the next time and see if they have one. Or more than one haha.
I think if I take a reader to Quebec I won't have to carry a suitcase full of books LOL. I can just download books to read. Or I can go to London Drugs to try and find one since I'll be taking my laptop there tomorrow.
I am beginning to realize that with my level of energy I can go out forpart of the day ot I can stayin and sew. It seems I can't manage both things. I need to talk to Ray about having a day or two a week to stay in and sew.
Or give it up altogether, No that won't happen.

I have called Rick every day and so far there have been many tests but no results. So we have to wait, nothing happens on the weekends anyway so next week maybe we will have some information.

Now it is time for dogs LOL.
Precious little fellow isn't he?

I love this one since it has a special meaning for me as I had a young dog who once ate up one of a pair  of my best shoes. I was not amused!!! There I was with only one shoe that worked. Down the tube with both of them. Funny now, not then.

I found this place and I'm not leaving. Haha.

My Christmas quilt. I made it a few years ago and haul it out every Christmas. I am wondering where I put it last year or if I brought it out. That was my hospital year and who know what I did. I'll look for it tomorrow.  See the little Santas and then some blocks 6" that I made plus the squares. I love that quilt. Maybe this year I'll take a nicer picture.
Here is a nice little hanging or mat. This one is embroidered and then bordered, but you can applique or  piece something Christmasy for the centre of the quilt.
This is so funny....And the cats are so beautiful. They must be in a zoo don't you think. Of course am I stupid or something LOL.

KkkKatie beautiful Katie, an old sweet song and Katie is getting her hair done. I wonder  where she is going.

Lovely Chelsea with her saxophone and two band friends.

My Sam's and Adam's son of course was 37 today. We had a nice long talk. he is such a  wonderful man and Ray and I love him very much.

That's plenty for tonight.  Have a lovely evening.
Bon  Soir.

Have been telling you for years. A reader is much better than running to the library all the time. Also you can have it in your purse for instant read while waiting for appts. and Ray to shop. They are so cheap now. Make sure you get one with the light . Sam has one and I have 2. One for upstairs and one for downstairs. LOL

I know Jean I should listen to you more often. Because we are going to Quebec I thought it would be a good travelling companion and no bag of books to carry LOL>
