A very adorable mug rug, it looks like a lot of work but the result is great

Pinwheel Star by Quilt Pro. I had the CD earlier but it somehow got lost when I got my new computer. I used it a lot when I was president of my guild . I used to put a BOM on the website and in the Newsletter. When my term of office was over the new president took down the website I had worked so hard for and that was it. It did have a lovely article  from a UK magazine that was very appreciative of the website. It was fun while it lasted.

We had a nothing much day again today.  We went out at lunch time for a bite to eat and then to the bookstore where we bought some English books for our great granddaughter in Quebec who is going to English school. I think I told you before that they cannot get English books for children in that province , the language police forbid it. But we send some and this time we'll take Hayley Rose some Christmas books and some pop up books. I love children's books. Ray said to me today " I think you love the books more than the kids do." LOL.

The  Polar Express is a fabulous Christmas book.

The first time I read it was years ago when it was first published , it was wonderful then and it's wonderful now. I hope the kids will love it as much as I do.
We must have bought these a while ago and I just ran across them.

And these are the ones we bought today .

We also went to the grocery store for some lamb but it was so expensive , the piece I wanted was small and cost $32 , that is awful .

After walking around those big stores we went home for a rest and I had a long nap this time. Ray put supper together, salmon sandwich and Lipton's chicken noodle soup with an egg in it.

Adam and Lisa in Malibu for the weekend and longer as Adam has business to attend to next week. He says it is so lovely he would like to live there but it is so expensive.

Adam called today from there to talk about Richard. He told Rick that if he needed him he would come up from Louisiana and that he would come here and take me to Calgary. I am so happy that the band of brothers are hanging together on this. Jim is coming back from Louisiana and he too will go to the hospital to see Rick. Peter is coming back to Calgary from Ottawa tomorrow and will go to him as well. Rick told me not to come as he said there is nothing I can do but at some time I will go to Calgary to see him. He did tell me that he plans to come to home for Christmas, he should be out of the hospital by then.
This is an old quilt by Carol Doak. I love the silhouettes, they are lovely. She is so clever.

Oh my what could be cuter than this.  And Marg is down in the USA for Black Friday so she'll miss this one. Well maybe she won't LOL.

Hahaha what a chemist.

I love this one of Einstein. I always quote him and now I wonder if he actually said what I quote. LOL.

What do you have to say little guy? He is just so adorable.

Time to go ....
Have a great evening.
Buenos Tardes.
