New year

It is after nine and I am just getting to my blog. It is a good thing that most of you read it in the morning. So I won't worry about being late.
Adam called this morning and we talked for a long time about things that were happening in the family, mostly about Richard.
We went for lunch at TOPS today and they had their wonderful cabbage rolls on the menu. It is not that often that they are on the menu as the restaurant just puts them up when they feel like it. So we count ourselves fortunate if they are available for lunch or dinner.  The plate has two very large cabbage rolls, potatoes and vegetables. A large meal and Ray could only eat half of it. I had a great BLT and fries and could only eat half of it. We took the rest home to eat another time. The sandwich did not last although the cabbage rolls did.
Then we had to go to the Safeway pharmacy but it was not open today. So we decided to go to the casino and had a fine time but did not come home rich LOL.
Jim called after we got home and we also talked for a long time about family , mostly about Richard.
Peter  called after I got off the phone from Jim. We talked mostly about family and Richard.
As you can see it is what concerns us the most in our lives.
Then I noticed that the skin on my legs was falling off from extreme dryness LOL. I will be just a bag of bones before long haha. I had to address that problem and had some great lotion that I got when I was in the hospital in August , so I used that to attack the loss of my skin.
TV watching was next on my list  after reading my e mail and now it is my blog. A nice day but not very exciting or even interesting.
My eyes are giving me trouble again.

Look at those eyes, no problems there eh!

Love is where you find it, animals are good at finding it. They don't have the issues that people do around finding love. But we all find it eventually, at least I hope we do. A world where people have love is the best of all worlds.

I chose the picture of these fabrics because  the wonderful colours will brighten up a cold and foggy winter's day.  Today it was foggy here all day and in the evening too.

My lovely granddaughter Chelsea out for a walk in the rain.  She has been here for the holidays. It was great to see her.
This cat knows how to live LOL.

Angry Birds?
Or just hungry ones. Mama birds are kept very busy.

The well is dry for tonight.
Have a great whatever is left of the evening
Happy New Year folks.
