sewing machine

Today I thought to sew a bit. I wanted to put on my Accufeed foot It was a journey believe me. first I could not get the needle to go down, then it was not stitching right because I not hooked the foot up properly. When it was finally working after quite some time I sewed 8 long strips of fabric for the blocks I need to make for the guild. My problem is I have scarcely used the machine for 2 years and definitely not the accufeed foot. I hardly remembered what to do with all the parts. Haha.
Do you remember the chicken pincushion I was making some time ago? I got back to it today because I  had been thinking about it in bed and figured that I could understand the directions. Well two seams and the comb later,  once again  I lost track of what the instructions were trying to say. So it will be back to dreaming again to see how this works. However I am almost there so it shouldn't be long before it is done. In fact I may have to think up the rest of the instructions on my own LOL. I did get something done and that makes me happy.

This machine the Janome 7700 belongs to my friend Jamie in Michigan. I have the 6600 , the 7700 is the next step up from mine and is a wonderful machine. Hugs Jamie. Love your machine and the sweet little top you are making for Alex.
I am trying to see if the photos I downloaded today actually showed up. So let's see....
No they didn't I'll give it another go tomorrow.
This is my grandson Ricky who has moved to Calgary to help his dad Rick. I admire him for that. He is a nice young man.
We  are still looking for a caddy for our K -Cups for our Assimo coffee machine. No luck today but we have one in mind and will probably get it next week. Then we went to McDonald's for Mc Nuggets.
After that is when I came home to sew. I wasn't a long time  at the machine but at least it was something.

 Beautiful babies with momma.

Amish Diamond Star, Block of the Day, I love the colours. And the pattern looks simple for most quilters.

We are resting tonight, Ray is napping but I have not had a nap today, hurrah. I stayed up all day good for me.  Tomorrow I have to get up early to go to the dentist at 9:30 so I wanted to stay up all day and get a good night's sleep. Will that work? LOL.
Time to go folks.
Have a lovely evening.
Bon soir.
