Indian Plume. Here we go with mostly half square triangles and five squares. If you are good at these triangles this one is an easy patchwork piece to do.

The Seamstress by Richard Purcell 1765.
Can you imagine the circumstances of this woman . I see her sitting in a corner of the sewing room and darning all the holes in the families clothes or maybe holes in the servant's clothes. Working in dim light and long hours would make her one tired woman and at some point losing her eyesight from the close work and bad light. It is justice to see her immortalized in oils.
Another thing to eat ...What! Daddy's wallet. Not even a year old and she has her hand in papa's wallet or she is trying to gum her way into it LOL.
We haven't seen dear Charlotte for a while, so here is how we see her.Ray and I didn't do much today , we just went up to Metrotown and had some chinese food for lunch. I think I mentioned that the food there was not as good as it was. Well I am of the same opinion, so we probably won't be eating at that concession any more. But we did manage to walk some of the mall. Poor Ray has so much trouble walking with his spinal stenosis and I am not that energetic with my spaghetti legs so it was a good walk for us. I remember when we walked the whole mall, now we can only do a small protion of it. But then something is better than nothing, not much better but a little. I read recently that you should get up every half hour if you are sitting and sewing , if you are sewing you can walk to the cutting board, then to the ironing board and back to your sewing machine. I guess you get to move your joints that way.LOL.
More cats for Marg.
And a dog for Nan LOL.
Oh there are so many great cartoons about cats and dogs. I get lots of them in my email and sure get a laugh out of them. On to another animal , a whale breached itselftwice right in front of a fishing boat. It was absolutely amazing!
Isn't this a pretty table topper and it is made from a charm pack. I love it. The site to find this one is just above the picture, a quilting life.
Time to go folks,
Have a lovely evening.
Bon Soir
