air show

Abbotsford Air Show this weekend in Abbotsford haha, Amazing work by these fliers. It is an exciting show. The USAF Thunderbirds are at the 50th anniversary of the Abbotsford Air Show.

Ray and I had virtually no sleep last night. We got up this morning, had coffee and breakfast and Ray fell asleep in his chair. I watched some old TV shows and then around noon I went back to bed. If I get too tired my legs won't work and I got too tired.

Marg came over later in the afternoon with another lovely book for me to read. I never have to go to the library lately as Marg brings me books and I buy a few at Costco. That keeps me well supplied with reading material. I only read at night when I go to bed but I get in about three hours that way.
The book she brought is by Nancy Bush, Nowhere to Run. Should be good, all Marg's  choices are good. Thanks Kid!!

By this time it was time for me to make dinner. Ray did not want any dinner so I made it for myself. I took some big white mushrooms, sliced them up, sliced celery, garlic, and onion. I threw them all in the frying pan with some butter and let them cook away.
It was great!.

And that is all I did today. But tomorrow is another day and Kathy and I are going to see TOM's new store. It is a lot bigger than his old one and should be fun to look at all his merchandise.

Lots of floor space right now but Tom will fill it up soon I'm sure. Bright ,clean and airy space for classes.

This display of blue flowers is so beautiful. Blue flowers are a lot rarer that all the other colours so this collection is quite a gorgeous sight.
Dog time!!

This picture was on the news tonight where the Dalmation is caring for the little goat. Probably thinks the goat is her baby. The goat follows the Dalmation everywhere. Friendly arrangements between differing species of animals is a heartwarming sight. It would be nice if people were so accomodating. Well we are kind of, we like dogs LOL and cats .
Dogs and ponies, now there is an odd combination. But then nothing in this world is actually odd where animals are concerned.
Big and little again. I love the loook on this dog's face and the impish look on the kitten's face. Nothing to be afraid of  doggie. LOL.
Sunset in Liberia from Katie's album of her trip. Beautiful sight isn't it?

Handy Andy  from Quilt Pro daily blocks. PDF pattern is where to go for the instructions.
Charlote in her khakis on her last visit.

Elegant flowers by Eleanor Burns , the Magic Vine Quilt. This was done by my friend Wendy. I love it so much I'd like to make this quilt too. It would be a good one to take to my Tuesday sewing group. Plus Wendy would be there to offer suggestions if I get into any trouble LOL>

Time to go folks.
Have a very nice evening.
Buenos tardes
