eyes sore

Boy are my eyes sore, good thing I go to the eye specialist early in Spetember. If this isn't better tomorrow  I might give him a call on Monday. It is a good thing I can enlarge the print size on my screen or I'd never be able to see it. It is all fuzzy.

Neil Armstrong has left us, thank you Neil for your contributions to the world.  I recall the day that the Eagle landed July 29 1969. I was in Britain and saw it on the TV at my hotel. It was an exciting and inspirational time for mankind. To think we could actually reach the moon.
A young Neil Armstrong.

Ray made us a nice plate for dinner, cottage cheese, lettuce, radish, tomato and cucumber. Very delicious!
Shopping today - groceries and after we took Marg to the casino. Her birthday is coming up and I told her it was for her birthday. She said but you always take me. And I replied but this one os for
your birthday LOL.   She probably thinks I am nuts!!

I know that you all can find easy Flying Geese patterns to make this block. I like the fabrics chosen for this one and the colours are so good together.

This block is from Quilting About.com the instructions for the block are with the pattern  which is on the second page.  There are tons of blocks on this site.

Yellow Orchids are so beautiful.  We saw some gorgeous  purple ones the other day. We can remember the orchids but not where we saw them. Weird isn't it?  Our orchids are all white and were all gifts. I think I'll get Ray another one that is coloured as he loves them and looks after them.

I made this apron for one of the sons, don't remember which one .
Here's the one I made for Ray
. the designs are embroidered on my missing machine.
I have to sign off now , my eyes are just too sore to be writing and reading.
So have a great evening folks.
Bon Soir
