We had a wonderful time with Sam and Ricky, our grandsons and cousins to each other. It is so great to see cousins as friends. I am happy about that.  We all had lunch , Ray and I had toasted BLTs , Sam had an omelette and Ricky had haddock and chips. The two young men treated us to lunch. Such sweethearts!!
We stayed in the restaurant for a long time just talking and laughing and remembering. Sam had many rememberances of his time with Ray and me when he was young. He and his step brother Rodger used to come into  the kitchen and go right to the cupboard where the puddings were stored, for them of course LOL.  That was in our house wehn we lived there . Ricky has no memories of the house because we had moved before he was born , but he is welcome to the puddings any time. haha.
This is not an advertisement for Kraft no matter how it looks LOL.

We came home right after our visit was over and Ray had a nap. I had to take care of my e mail from the past three days. Too many to read so most of them had to go into the delete file. Or as we used to say the round file!

I bought the latest Fons and Porter magazine this morning. It is wrapped in plastic and I have been known to say I would not buy a magazine that was wrapped. But I did, who knows why. I like to see what is in the magazine before I buy it. But Love of Quilting has been a favourite of mine for  a long time.
From my friend Lindsay , today on facebook. True!!

Momma and baby.....

Big and little pictures once again. This so adorable, don't you love the baby kitten imitating momma. So small!!

Do you work this hard, are your feathers ruffled, is your hair a mess LOL. This rooster looks as if he was in a huge fight! And he won!!!!!

Friendship is love of quilting and love of friends and love of family haha.

Adam called tonight , it was nice to hear from him. We talked about our trip down to Washington state . It was a first time out of Canada for me since I was sick so he was asking how I did. I have been pretty healthy so that worked out for me. He and Lisa will be going back to Louisiana on the second of September, so they are coming over from Sechelt next week.

So that is it for now folks.
Have a lovely evening.
Habari ya jiona.
