Not just spooling around folks. Coats and Clark offer a spooled quilt. Nine blocks , so it is small and easy I think LOL.
Now for a beautiful controlled scrappy quilt thanks to Bonnie Hunter's tutelage of how to make a scrappy quilt. This one is fabulous.
Ray and I went out to Ladner for lunch today and then we visited The Quilted Bear. I had not been there for a long time so found the owner to be changed . It was now owned by a man named Matt. He was a great guy named Matt and I enjoyed talking to him. I was looking for a small iron for pressing the seams on my pieced blocks. He said he had just one, so I bought it. I am happy for that. The I bought a meter of lovely green fabric , some charm squares and red bobbins. I liked the colour of the bobbins and they can be used to keep the sewing threads and embroidery threads separate. Good news.
There was so many lovely spring green items in the store. Here is my spring green fabric and other items.
There were nice quilts in the windows and in the store.

This gorgeous piece. I did really enjoy the shop and the owner who was so helpful. Ray on the side , haha sounds like a meal doesn't it. Dressing on the side please.
At lunch I had macaroni and cheese at the ABC restaurant, it was delicious and I wanted to buy another order but I didn't. Maybe I'll go there soon again. Ray had a Denver Sandwich.
I came home and sewed a bit but not enough. I wanted to do more but had to lay down and have a bit of a rest. That was the end of my sewing but still I am more ahead than I was when I got up. LOL.
Now I am making popcorn.
This one just made me laugh , it is hilarious!
Time out now folks.
Have a great evening.
Good night!
