if you find your blocks are lumpy - try making them on a paper or fabric foundation - press as you go.
Crumb blocks for all your small pieces. So save those bits and pieces. LOL.
Well I lost it all again. I wonder where this stuff goes. If I knew I could get it to come back, but I have to start once more.

Broken Dishes-something that does not make us happy in this house. This one is from Quilt Pro their every day Block of the Day.
I would call this a four square hourglass block LOL.
I went to my sewing day. In the morning Pat and I went to Starbucks for a coffee and a Potato Hashbrown. Pat liked it but she felt it was too fatty which it was. Pat is a very thin woman and decided she wouldn't eat one again. I on the other hand have no such qualms and I look it. However I only eat them occasionally .
We had our chat and coffee and moved on to the church.
We started sewing, mostly applique because there are no machines in the church. Betty, Sharon, Joan and I sewed hearts to make a baby quilt for Community Quilts to send to the hospitals.
My heart is read and the background is cream.
Pat was making the most beautiful yellow rose . I didn't take a picture as I was really just too tired to xearch around for my camera. Next week for sure I'll take one to show.
Betty Lu was working on her second Baltimore Album , the first one is already in Virginia attending a quilt show. I bet it gets a blue ribbon.
Nancy continued to work on the piece she was doing last week and so it continued.
After eating our lunch we made our way to Community Quilts. I was happy to see everyone as it has been a while since I was there. I was eager to talk to Rae whose daughter had twin boys three weeks ago. She was overjoyed.I was very happy for her. And Jocelyn and I had a good chat.
As did Ione and me. But Ione I can't find that pattern for the owls. I did send you something, don't know if it came up but if it didn't type in Owl Pin cushions and keep on pushing the arrow on the right until it comes up. That's what I did.
This is so pretty, Dresden Plate always attracts my eye. And this one has those beautiful pastel colours which is even better.
After Community Quilts we went to Betty's for tea and goodies. That was a good afternoon and Ray came and picked me up at Betty's. Tuesday is such a great day.
But tiring, I came home and fell into bed.
Doesn't everyone have this thread bag. I have one which my friend and I made when I was in Phoenix years ago. I use it all the time.
So it's time for me to close.
Have a great evening.
Good night.
